SUMMIT was created in 2017 by San Bonifacio de las Lanzas School. Given the bilingual character of the school, the social studies area decided to include a committee where students could unwind and improve their English skills while debating the UN model. 

In this commission, heads of state will discuss topics that are related to the UN and Important worldwide topics that affect many countries’ development and future. As they are heads of state there aren’t any laws that regulate them. They are autonomous, which means they can make the decisions they consider most appropriate for their nation, so it is necessary to have a clear understanding and knowledge of their countries’ situations and political points of view according to their head of state’s ideology.
